Sigiriya Police state that two youths touring on a motorbike died and the motive force of a van was injured when a motorbike and a van collided on the Dambulla-Habarana principal street within the Digampathaha space on the evening of the ninth.
Police state that the deceased have been two workers working at a vacationer lodge within the Digampathaha space and have been residents of Dambulla and Thanamalwila areas. The van was touring from Dambulla in direction of Habarana. Police suspect that the accident might have occurred when the bike, which was touring from Habarana in direction of Dambulla, tried to overhaul one other car.
